Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Laestan ("we", "us") collects when you use the Laestan website and app, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Laestan you agree to this policy.

• Account information: your email address and password (stored securely, never in plain text).
• Business information: details you enter about your business, such as business name, owner name, phone, address, tax rate and invoice terms.
• Your customers' information: names, addresses, contact details and job history you add for your own customers.
• Work records: services, prices, quotes, jobs, schedules, invoices and payments you record.
• Team members: on the Business plan, the details of helpers you invite.
• Subscription information: your plan and billing status. Card details are entered with our payment processor and are not stored by Laestan.

• To provide the app and the features of your plan.
• To create the quote and invoice links you choose to share with your customers.
• To manage your subscription and billing.
• To respond to support requests and send important account messages, such as password resets.
• To keep the service secure and working properly.

We do not sell your information or your customers' information.

You control the customer information you enter. You are responsible for having the right to store it and for using it in line with the privacy laws that apply to your business. We process it only to provide Laestan to you.

When you share a quote or invoice, anyone with that link can view the document, including your business contact details and the customer name and address on it. Share links only with the intended recipient.

• Hosting and data storage: our app and database are hosted by a cloud infrastructure provider.
• Payments: paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the payment information you give it.

These providers may store or process data outside Canada.

We keep your information while your account is active. To ask for your account and data to be deleted, contact us at laestan.app@gmail.com.

We use access controls so that each business can only see its own records, and connections to Laestan are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

You can view and update most of your information in the app. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by contacting us.

We may update this policy. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email.
