Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of the Laestan website and app ("Laestan"). By creating an account or using Laestan, you agree to them. If you use Laestan for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

• Give accurate information and keep your login details secure.
• You are responsible for activity on your account, including by team members you invite.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

• The Start plan is free and has usage limits shown on our pricing section.
• Pro and Business are paid monthly subscriptions, charged in Canadian dollars at the price shown when you subscribe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• We may change prices or plan features. We will give notice before a price change affects your subscription.

You can cancel a paid plan at any time from Settings in the app. Your paid features continue until the end of the current billing period, after which your account moves to the free Start plan. Your existing records remain in your account, but Start plan limits will apply.

You own the information you put into Laestan, including your customers' details, quotes and invoices. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide Laestan to you. You are responsible for having the right to use your customers' information.

You agree not to:

• Use Laestan for anything illegal, fraudulent or misleading.
• Send spam or unwanted messages using Laestan.
• Try to access other users' data or disrupt the service.
• Copy, resell or reverse-engineer Laestan.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Laestan helps you create invoices and record payments. Laestan does not collect payments from your customers and is not responsible for amounts owed between you and your customers, or for your tax obligations.

• We work to keep Laestan available and accurate, but it is provided "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free service.
• Check quotes, invoices and calculations before sending them.
• To the extent allowed by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use Laestan means you accept the updated terms.
